Reading aer nervous at home so it's time to go for the throat and get people who can take a man on and deliver a cross in for our big boys. We'd have Damien Johnson and Fletcher to control and sit tight in the middle with Mackie and Nooney running r…

Brum Deal

From PAFC Official

ARGYLE have signed experienced midfielder Damien Johnson from Birmingham City on a two-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee.

An experienced international, Johnson joined Birmingham City from Blackburn Rovers in 2002 having graduated through the Ewood Park youth system.

A creative midfielder, Damien made a total of 81 appearances for Rovers and enjoyed a short loan spell with Nottingham Forest before his move to St Andrews.

Johnson's arrival at Birmingham coincided with the club's return to the Premier League and he was an ever-present for a number of seasons after that before being awarded the Club Captaincy in 2006.

Damien has won 56 caps for Northern Ireland in an international career that has spanned over a decade.

Good Luck Kenny and Damien

All the very best to the new lads got a good feeling about these two guys the midfield now is going to have fire in its belly, and the attack a man who can finish, well done to the legend that is mariner, and not forgetting john carver both trained by sir bobby hopefully hes looking down on these two men for the rest of the season.
