Jamie Sheehan commented on phil wright's blog post 'New fixture list'
"Strange one that, as Police issues are one of the factors that go into determining fixtures, but I guess with it being on 25th March, they'll be hoping that nothing will be decided that day. At least if we do have something to play for at the…"

New fixture list

Just seen next seasons fixtures. We play Exeter home on a tues evening betD&C Police are delighted with that ! as with it being on a tues evening they dont have any options to move KO times unless they move it to the afternoon!!! still they have plenty of time to put their contingency plans into operation. Also the fixtures have not fallen kindly for us over the lucrative Christmas period ,away on Boxing day & the Sunday? after but home on the last Sat before Christmas which by tradition…See More

RODGER RUSE commented on phil wright's blog post 'Bradford promoted'
"I agree with all the points made by Jamie. The concept of a different colour for away kits is now accepted by Football Clubs everywhere so, despite our home green colours not clashing with other League 2 teams, we need to keep up with modern trends…"

"If people who don't like it DO NOT BUY IT - then the message will get to those who decide these important matters.  However the likelihood is they will buy it and follow the crowd like sheep."

"Its not a question of mentality but one of identification Jamie. That dark blue strip also included green as did the Sturrock orange. Yes that new away strip looks smart, I agree,, but apart from the badge doesn't have GREEN. I suppose…"

"I actually like the new away strip, and feel that objections on the basis that 'we've never worn blue before' - which isn't true anyway, our away strip was dark blue not that long ago, are typical of the mentality of some Argyle…"

"When I started supporting Argyle in the 1950"s there was no such thing as an "AWAY strip" . Evey team had a change strip in the case of colour clashes. In the 1960's with more televised games the change strip also came into…"

phil wright commented on phil wright's blog post 'Bradford promoted'
"All this "away strip" rubbish is nothing more than a cynical ploy by clubs to screw a bit more out of their supporters,  more especially in Argyles case as i cant think of another club in our lge or very few in other lges come to that…"

Bradford promoted

Good news for us as its saved at least one "long old poke" & got rid of one of the stronger teams in the lge!

On another point i wish people would stop sniping & looking for negativity re the new stand. At least thanks to JB it looks like at long last we are going to get it built. So lets have faith in him & just get the b****y thing built!!
