I remember Hughies header, as I recall against Torquay on Boxing Day 20,000 attendance. 3-0 win. He seemed to be outside the penalty area in front of the Demport and did a dive to connect,sending the ball screaming into the net.
Best headed goal I have ever seen.

for me personally it has to be dave burnside or hughie reed,who remembers his diving header at the devenport end,then theres mike bickle,dereck rickard,jim furnell,of course mariner/rafferty and more rcently jock morrison and david frio
but one who will in my opinion will become one of the all time legends is
